Dr Samir Govil is a well-experienced nephrologist in Kanpur. He capped his MBBS in the year 1988 from the renowned GSVM college in Kanpur. He further got certified as an MD (Medicine) in 1992, thereafter did his DNB (Nephrology) from the Institute of Kidney Sciences, BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad in the year 1999 and has gained years of experience in treating kidney patients with his expertise. He has been awarded the MAMS (Member Academy of Medical Science) in the year 2000 for outstanding work in the field of Medicine.
His main interest is Clinical Nephrology and has been practising in Kanpur since 2000. Dr Samir Govil is also working as a faculty member in the department of medicine on a contractual basis. His involvement in various clinical trials includes Principal Investigator in a Collaborative trial on Renal Amyloidosis with IIT Kanpur.
